Housed in restored digs from the 1920’s, Chestnut takes as much pride in the experience they curate as the food they produce. Going as far as keeping their doors open every day of the week so their guests never need to remember the days of operation, they uphold their mantra of, “it’s how you do it.” Whenever Al was a bit naughty, she told him he had to eat “deviled” eggs, but when she tried Chestnut’s version with roasted jalapeños and candied bacon she had to come up with a new plan. Maybe rename them “heavenly eggs?”
