New American Restaurant
In Kalamata’s mind, an Odd Duck is unique, true to itself, and waddles to its own beat. So, being called and “odd duck” is quite a lofty compliment. That fits perfectly for this destination, which serves awesome oddities like open faced omelettes with fried rice and Chinese goat sausage as well as waffle batter fried quail on the brunch menu. On her last visit Kalamata was enamored with the ingenious beet sherbet, but not so pleased when Mama insisted to order it as “sherbert.”

"I don’t usually order nachos because most nachos are boring cheese on chips. That would never cut the mustard here, so they make nachos with grilled mushrooms, tahini, radishes and fresh herbs. To be sure you get to try them, I think you should probably make a reservation for your visit."
