French Bistro | SoHo
Maman first opened its doors in SoHo, but has since spread out to multiple locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The owners aimed to bring a taste of their own fond childhood memories from their mothers’ kitchens to hungry New Yorkers in a warm, comforting space. Professional Taste Bud Marie Ponsonnet loves the way the quiche Lorraine and the beautiful white chocolate lavender cakes make her feel like she’s at home in Pomerol again, and Kalamata thinks Pomerol sounds like a pretty delicious place to grow up.
- Quick bites
"The kid’s menu at Maman in Soho has handy, easy French phrases on it, like “puis-je avoir un cookie?” Always a good thing to know, especially when the cookies are so, so delicieux!"
